This is an AOBA certified show, therefore all rules or amended rules of the 2007 handbook will be followed. You are encouraged to familiarize yourself with the 2007 rules.
In order to reserve stalls, you must enter and show at least one alpaca. There will be a mandatory exhibitors meeting at 8:30 am on Saturday October 27th. All alpacas must have a health Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) completed within 30 days of the last day of show. The alpaca’s ARI name, Microchip Number and negative BVDV results with either a PCR or VI test must be indicated on the CVI. Alpacas must be tested for BVDV using either a PCR or VI test and the negative results must be listed on the Cert. of Vet Inspection signed by your vet; just having the lab report isn’t sufficient to enter the facilities of the show. All animals entered must be registered with the Alpaca Registry, Inc (This includes companion alpacas). No pending papers will be accepted. Alpacas must be registered in the name of the owner as listed on the ARI certificate or the exhibitor must provide a “Buyer’s Permission to Show” form completely filled out and signed by the owner that is listed on the ARI certificate. Send completed entry form with a copy of ARI certificate and Buyer’s Permission to Show form, if applicable. Get of Sire and Produce of Dam entries must be listed on the entry form. Stalls will be assigned on a first come/first serve basis. Preferred stalling will be provided to Platinum and Gold sponsors. We are limited to 170 stalls in three buildings, so get your entries in early! All stalls are 9 x 9. They will include cardboard bedding, electricity and clean-up at no additional charge. No more than three alpaca per stall. Farm displays are encouraged. Each exhibitor may reserve only one display stall. Maximum stalls are five per exhibitor; this includes your display stall. Check-In is Friday, October 26th from 11am until 7 pm. Check-out is Sunday, October 28th at 3:00 pm. Please refrain from dismantling displays until 2:00 on Sunday. All Fleeces must be turned in by 7 pm on Friday. RV Hook-ups are available on the grounds for $15 per night.
Having proof of AOBA Show Division membership is good to have at every show as it may be necessary to eliminate problems or delays. Vendor space is available at $150 per stall. Stalls are 9 x 9. All vendors will be located in the cafeteria building, along with the fleece show and the guest speakers. There will be alpacas stalled in the cafeteria building. No Refunds will be available after October 10th, 2007. Refunds before Oct. 10th will be determined by the ability to resell stalls. There will be a $15 substitution fee for any animal substituted after Sept.20, 2076. ALL ALPACAS ARE REQUIRED TO BE MICROCHIPPED. The Microchip # must appear on the Vet. Certificate of Inspection. All exhibitors must meet the appropriate state regulations for movement of livestock. BVD Testing by PCR or VI is a requirement. Even if state regulations do not require a Veterinary Certificate
of Inspection, Exhibitors must have a Veterinary Certificate of
Inspection (Health Papers) completed not more than 30 days prior
to the last day of the show for each alpaca transported to the show.
This includes companion alpacas. |
